Open the installer
Download the Intel or Apple Silicon version and double-click the .pkg file. If it is blocked, dismiss the message.
Allow this file to open
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Security. Next to the blocked installer, click Open Anyway or Open, depending on your macOS version.
Install and start reading
Confirm opening and use your Mac password or Touch ID if requested. Complete the installer, then open Applications → Bionic Reader.
Cannot see the button? Try opening the .pkg again. Authorization applies to this file; you do not need to disable Mac security.
